There are football pitches in the Park along with bowling greens and there’s also a children’s play area, and you can take relaxing walks through the woodlands or stroll beside the lakes.

Close to Birkenhead, you can visit this Gallery to see a wide variety of beautiful art works, including works by George Stubbs, J M W Turner, Edward Burne Jones and Lord Leighton, a Wedgwood collection and tapestries. You can also see Chinese porcelain, antique furniture including cabinets and chairs, as well as Greek earthenware and Roman sculpture.
