At this Visitors Centre you can learn all about Croydon Airport which was the world’s first airport using air traffic control, and the first main international airport that was based in the United Kingdom. The airport no longer exists, but you can see the Air Traffic Control Tower and learn about the Airport’s history, including its Wartime role.
At this Museum you can learn about the history of the area with a range of exhibits, including ancient Roman and Anglo-Saxon artefacts, many items relating to the people of the region and their lives, and there are also beautiful ceramics from China.
You can step back in time and make a visit to this charming mid 19th century brick Windmill. You can have a tour around this interesting building and see the historic machinery including the millstones and learn about the history of milling here, and there are also displays you can look at which include interesting models.

Selsdon Wood Nature Reserve
This is a lovely place to come and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the quiet surroundings and its abundance of nature. You can explore the meadows along with the woods and ponds, and there are a number of footpaths to take, along with shelters along the way.
