Museum of Somerset

This Museum is home to a varied collection of exhibits about the history of Somerset dating back to prehistory. St. Mary Magdalene Church

This is a Grade I listed church built between the 12th and early 16th centuries and has a number of fine features such as the many interior pillars, impressive square tower, beautifully engraved angels on the modern glass doors and Victorian decoration in St. Andrew’s Chapel.

Bishops Lydeard Mill

A short distance from Taunton, you can visit this charming historic watermill, in attractive surroundings. Here you can also see displays of traditional crafts including workshops of a Blacksmith, wheelwright, saddler and cooper, as well as interesting models of various mills.
